The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) has inducted a crop of new members charging them to always be professional and ethical in their conducts.
The President/Chairman of Council of the institute, Bode Ayeku, gave this counsel at the induction ceremony for over 400 new members cutting across Graduates and Associates categories of membership.
While urging them to be above board, the President warned, ‘We have zero-tolerance for any act of ethical aberration. Any member found guilty of gross misconduct in defiance of dictates of ethics will have his or her certificate withdrawn and membership forfeited. We are committed to this principle without fear or favour, no matter whose ox is gored.’
According to the chairman in council, the institute has zero tolerance for misconducts, hence any member found guilty, and in defiance of dictates to ethics, would have his or her certificate withdrawn, and membership forfeited.
