Lenovo, the new owners of the Motorola brand through its Subsidiary, Motorola Mobility, has unveiled a new range of Moto smartphones to core dealers in Nigeria at a dealers event in Lagos.
The Motorola brand was one of the leading handset brands unleashed on the Nigerian market and consumers at the inception of GSM telephone in the country in 2001. The brand which was quite popular with a pedigree for ruggedness could be described as one of the “natives of the Nigeria’s telecom kingdom”. The brand however exited the market at the height of the competition and brand inertia.
Lenovo acquired the company in 2015 and the brand is once again being aggressively pushed across markets. In its come-back bid into the Nigerian market, Moto Mobility is leading with new models which include the Moto E4, Moto E4 plus, Moto C 3G, Moto C 4G and Moto C plus boasts of exciting new features and user friendly applications.
