Total Nigeria’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team at the Ugogomeje Nursery and Primary School in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Management of Total Nigeria Plc has expressed confidence in the ability of the new Olu of Warri to create and maintain an atmosphere that promotes conviviality in the communities under his chiefdom.
The management stated this when it paid a royal visit to the Olu, His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Ikenwoli 1, recently to congratulate and identify with his throne.
Godfrey Ikenwoli Emiko is the 20th Olu of Warri, Delta State, crowned Ogiame Ikenwole 1,in December. He succeeds Ogiame Atuwase II, whose death was officially confirmed in September 2015.
In a related development, Total Nigeria’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team also paid a monitoring visit to Ugogomeje Nursery and Primary School in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, to ascertain the level of usage the items donated to the school is being deployed. The school is one of the recipients of sets of tables and chairs donated by the company in December, 2015.
The CSR team, led by the Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr. Albert Mabuyaku, expressed satisfaction at the level of usage, as most of the donated items were visibly being put into good use by the school.
Some of the children who were seen having their extra-curricular activities at the time of the visit were particularly excited to have the Corporate Affairs Manager engage them in a sprinting exercise. He also gave the children some motivational talk to spur them to excelling in their studies and achieving their dreams. {fcomments}
