The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) has lauded the the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), over its unveiling of the “Handbook of NAFDAC; Approved Advertisements; Volume 1”. The official unveiling of the handbook was held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014, during NAFDAC’s forum for Stakeholders in Advertising, at the main auditorium of NAFDAC at its Oshodi premises, Lagos.
Stakeholders in Marketing and Advertising were well represented at the forum, as well as Advert and Public Relations agencies, marketing directors of various organizations, broadcasting outfits, relevant institutes and associations and other regulatory authorities.
According to reports gathered, NAFDAC came up with this initiative so as to ensure that stakeholders in advertising will have access to all the information required with respect to getting approval for advertisement of products and services that fall within NAFDAC’s scope of monitoring.
