4th Anniversary: Customers express confidence on Fina Trust Mfb

Despite customers lack of confidence in the system since the Central Bank of Nigeria closed about 103 micro finance banks, customers of Fina Trust Micro Finance Bank plc have said their experience with Fina Trust has changed their previous terrible experience with micro finance banking in Nigeria.

The Chairman of the bank, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, however, said during the fourth year anniversary thanksgiving service held at Fina Trust Micro Finance corporate head office at Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos, the confidence reposed in the bank by customers is one of the mark of the bank’s success in the last four years and it cannot be divorced from God’s backing. “We thank God for building the business on solid ground. God has helped us to recruit some of the best staffs,” he said.

Ituah said further that the vision of the bank is very clear and with the performance of the bank so far in the last four years, Fina Trust is expected to go far adding that despite closure of micro finance banks, Fina Trust has continued to wax stronger.

“There are a whole lots of micro finance banks that started four years ago but many of them are no more. We thank God that we still exist because so many businesses are going down but our customers businesses are doing well,” he said.

Also, the Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Deji Popoola said customers believe in the bank because Fina Trust adopts best business practice and customer-oriented approach to banking which contributes to the success of the brand. “We employ customer-oriented kind of business. We value feedback just as we also value our staffs who are so much committed to making the customers happy,” he said.

In the same vein, a director of the bank, Mr. Kunle Adeoye commended the bank’s principles and hiring of quality and well-trained staffs. He said apart from the business being profitable, it must impact and help customers grow.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Image Dry Cleaning, Mr. Sola Osolawon, a customer with the bank said his experience with the bank has erased an uncomplimentary experience he had with micro finance banks in the past.

“Few years ago when I was approached by Fina Trust Micro Finance Bank, I said I can never bank with any micro finance bank because of my previous experience but since I risked banking with Fina Trust four years agao, there has never been any regret.  After observing how they relate with me, they have been very effective and efficient. I have never worried about getting my money and as a result, I have introduced several customers to them,” he said.

Besides depositing with Fina Trust, Osolawon said some of his friends who cannot turn their projects to reality as a result of financial problems have been rescued by the bank. “I even market Fina Trust and the staffs to have been very supportive, and have tried in offering excellence service because they have built their customer relationship on trust,” he said.

Also, the Managing Director, Class Hospitality Ltd, Mr. Steve Omamulen said his experience with the bank been great and longstanding. He also said though he had bad experience with micro finance banks generally in the past but Fina Trust has rekindled his interest in banking with micro finance bank.”When I learnt they are four years, I said wow! But generally, they have been so good, they helped my business grow in so many ways,” said Omamulen.{fcomments on}
