Starcomms Partners Starscriber to Launch Please Call Me Service

Starcomms Plc, a leading CDMA operator in the Nigerian telecommunication industry has entered into a partnership with the United States based Starscriber Corporation  to launch ‘Please call me’ service in Nigeria.

Starscriber is an intellectual property and telecom solutions’ company is  the leading global provider of enhanced ‘Please call me’ services. It also have offices in Canada and South America offering enhanced “Please call me” services.

The new service enables Starcomms subscribers to send free enhanced “Please call me” messages to other Starcomms mobiles as well as to other network subscribers. It also allows mobile users, with and without credit, to quickly and easily request call backs.

To access the service, subscribers only need to place a call and then end it immediately.  This removes the need for consumers to memorize or input complicated dialing sequences on their mobile phones explains a press release made available to Brandcrunch.

“We are proud to be the first operator in Nigeria to offer enhanced ‘Please call me’ services from Starscriber,” stated Logan Pather, CEO of Starcomms.  “As an innovator in the market, we recognize the need to give our subscribers what they demand – new services which enable them to communicate more quickly and with greater ease.”

According to the document, Ryan Jones, CEO of Strascriber noted that “the Nigerian market is a key target for Starscriber and for enhanced Please Call Me services. In partnership with Starcomms, we delivered on our promise to give consumers a fast and highly effective value added service while immediately generating new revenue streams for our operator partner.”

Starcomms has been at the forefront of bringing innovative services to its customers. The company has been adjudged since 2007 as the CDMA network of the year by top telecommunication industry watchers.
