Nigeria’s foremost entertainment gathering in the south-south region of Nigeria, the Calabar Entertainment Conference, is set to hold its sixth edition on Friday, 7th of October, 2022.
The annual event celebrates and showcases the finest talents in the region and the biggest names in the entertainment industry, providing them the opportunity to grow successful brands within and outside the country.
The Calabar Entertainment Conference, CEC, is organized by Calabar’s top radio station, Hit 95.9 FM.
This year’s edition of the conference will feature prominent media personalities within and outside the country such as the Convener and Chairman, NEC Live, Ayeni Adekunle as Special Guest, Entertainment Journalist, Joey Akan; Brand Strategist, Dr Tochukwu Macfoy; Veteran Broadcaster, Ryan Verneuille (USA).
The event’s panel session will feature Actor, Efa Iwara; General Manager, Boomplay, Dele Kadiri, Social Media Influencer, Calabar Chic, Popular Tik-Tok Influencer, Celyn Ukam and Comedian, Last Prophet.

The Calabar Entertainment Conference, CEC, was established in 2017 by Calabar’s premier radio station, Hit FM. The station has continued to power the event over the years.
Hit FM is the premiere private radio station in Calabar. The organization began its operation 6 years ago, with the vision to provide premium lifestyle entertainment within its coverage area. Since its inception on February 1st, 2016, the station has been a breath of fresh air to Cross Riverians, providing unique entertaining and informative programmes.
