In further demonstration of its independence as a non affiliated agency and core desire to extend its frontiers of operation, Nigeria’s creative power house, X3M Ideas on Wednesday, 6th June, commissioned X3M Ideas South Africa PTY, investigation reveals.
According to findings, X3M Ideas South Africa PTY located in Johannesburg, is bound to increase the spate of competition in the Advertising industry in South Africa as a fully registered full service agency owned by the X3M Ideas Group but operating from South Africa.
Though, unavailable, a terse post on the development by Steve Babaeko, Group CEO, X3M Ideas confirms the development.
According to the post on Steve’s social media handles, “Part of our 5 year plan was to extend the frontier of our operation to other parts of Africa. It’s been a tough and challenging adventure, a big lesson in patience and perseverance”.
“All said and done, it gives me immense pleasure to officially announce our operation in South Central Africa. X3M Ideas SA PTY is now the arrowhead of our enterprise that is currently driving our footprint across South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique”, the statement said.
According to findings, the new operation is part of the X3M Group but it’s a “wholly independent operation with a different Board”.
Rationalising, the new addition to the fast growing group, Steve in the statement said, “We are the Marines of the Advertising Industry, we look challenges in the eyes and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Our dream is to leave indelible footprints across this great continent, this is only the beginning”.
Speaking in retrospect, he said, “In 2012 when we started X3M Ideas, not only did we not have money, we did what most neophyte entrepreneurs would do, we used the little money we had for window dressing.
From where we stood at the time, it made eminent sense for the office space to have more than a bit of glitter, we completely forgot about salaries and overhead. As first pay day approached I went into full panic mode, frantically looking for buyers for my Honda Accord so we could make payroll.
That was over 5 years ago. Since then we have gone ahead to build X3M Ideas into a creative power house. Winning pitches and hauling awards worldwide. Expectedly we have been given our due accolades, the statement added.
