The Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) recently honoured Mrs. Nike Alabi, who attained the age of 70.
Speaking at the birthday ceremony organized to honour Mrs. Alabi on Thursday at APCON house, Iganmu, the Chairman of APCON, Mr. Lolu Akinmunmi described her as a model, an icon and a consistent advertising practitioner who has distinguished herself in the practice of advertising in Nigeria.
According to Mr. Akinwunmi, Mrs. Alabi is a senior fellow of the advertising profession who has served the council in different capacities.
Responding to the honour done her by APCON, Mrs. Alabi praised the council, describing them as very dynamic even as she appreciated the honour. She used the opportunity to encourage young and upcoming advertising practitioners to work hard and always put God first in their dealings.
Mrs. Alabi who handled coca-cola account for 25years, enjoined young practitioners to continue to develop their abilities in serving their clients.
She therefore thanked the APCON Chairman and Registrar for the honour done her. Present at the occasion were other council members and management team.{jcomments on}
